WORKING TO BECOME DEMENTIA FRIENDLY SYMBOL
This symbol demonstrates that your business or organisation is working towards becoming dementia friendly, and that a person with dementia will therefore be welcomed and receive understanding, respect and support.

The scheme is free to join and just asks you to consider small changes that will make a big difference. The application process is simple and Dementia Action Alliance partners are here to help you.

Once accredited, you will be able to display this logo in your premises and website to show that you are working to become dementia friendly.
EVENTS
The Kent DAA has hosted the Dementia Friendly Kent Awards since 2014. The Awards celebrate the inspirational people, organisations, and communities who help to make Kent a more dementia-friendly county. There are also many regular support groups, activities and local area events running across Kent, as well as one-off events, that are Dementia Friendly. We aim to make sure you can access as many of these as possible. Over time, this website will be developed to include signposting to some of those local resources. In the meantime, you can find out more about what is happening in your local area through Kent Connect to Support.
